Printers are required for printing invoices on the one hand and production receipts on the other. You can work with one or more printers, depending on how your operational concept is structured. Each printer that you use must be created initially. The respective invoice printer and receipt control are then defined in the cost centers.
Enter existing thermal and dot matrix printers in order to record the specific properties of the printers and to enable subsequent assignment for receipt control.
Configure Bluetooth printers and connect them to the POS device.
Of course, you can make adjustments to printers already stored in the system at any time.
If the printer is no longer in use, you can remove it from the system.
The printer ID is required to make local settings on a device.
It is possible to automatically detect connected printers in the same network using the Find function. After detection, these can be transferred to the back office with a single click. The typical printer parameters such as print width, image printability (yes/no), paper check (yes/no), dot matrix/receipt printer (yes/no), etc. are automatically transferred. The new test print function can also be used to output a test print on the printer found in order to test its functionality. If you are using several printers, the devices can be identified using this function.
The following printers can be configured using the Find function:
Manufacturer | Model names |
---|---|
EPSON | TM-M30, |
EPSON | TM-T20 |
The kitchen monitor can display existing physical printers or a new, specially created virtual printer.
Information on the printers and their installation can be found here - Printer installation and further information.
