To allow your guests to make online purchases, you must first activate the widget in the Back Office.
Enable gift certificate### sales for the widget in the Back Office.
To ensure that customers can pay for the gift certificates you offer, you must set up online payment.
To allow customers to redeem the online gift cards they’ve purchased—whether online or in-store—you must add and activate the “Loyalty Card” payment method.
Please note that in this case, you can set up a separate prepaid account for the “Loyalty Card” payment method:
Click “Apply Now” to save your changes and view the widget with the current settings. If you’re using the Gastronovi-based website and reservations are enabled there, the updated widget is now available. Alternatively, you can enable the widget on your Gastronovi website via the “Reservations” smart content navigation:
Would you like to use the widget on your own website? Then view the HTML script and embed it as HTML content at the desired location on your website.
You can pre-set a#### voucher value using the URL parameter &amount. For example, if you want the value 25 euros to be pre-filled in the widget, add &amount=25.00 to the widget’s URL. The previous selection in the widget will be hidden.
Be sure to note the minimum and maximum amounts you’ve set for gift certificate sales. The preset value must not fall below or exceed these limits.
Now your guests can easily purchase and pay for gift certificates via the widget. These will then be sent by email and can be redeemed at any time at your business, whether in-person or online.
Please note: Gift certificates cannot currently be sold to guests from other countries, but only to guests located in your country.
